I have always loved the quiet mystery of discovering a feather.
On a shoreline.
Along a trail.
Caught in tall grass after the wind has moved on.
Across cultures, many believe feathers arrive carrying meaning — reminders of change, comfort, direction or hope.
This feather is called Water. It is the first piece in my new series, Soar, a collection inspired by places and moments in nature where feathers might be found. Eventually, there will be five such feathers in the series.
But...only nine First Edition Water feathers will ever exist.
Each feather contains subtle layers of discovery quietly integrated into the design — details meant not for everyone, but for those who pause long enough to truly look.
I make the feathers from both reclaimed and new wood, using modern technology alongside traditional hands-on artisanship. Each feather, even those that carry the same name (such as Water) is unique. They are not mass-manufactured. Instead, each one is handcrafted — so make sure you look at the individual pictures of each feather when making your selection.
The feathers are approximately 28" x 8". They are meant to be hung indoors and come with hardware to hang vertically and additional hardware in case you prefer to hang them horizontally.
You can select just one feather or add to the collection in the coming months as I create all five designs.
